

The Lost Spells will play Watford Palace Theatre (28th March – 8th April), Polka Theatre (13th April – 7th May) and Theatre by the Lake (24th May – 4th June). Featuring original writing by Robert Macfarlane, directed by Andy Barry, design by Hannah Sibai, lighting design by Sherry Coenen, show artwork illustrations by Jackie Morris and show artwork designed by Rebecca Pitt. The Lost Spells is based on the book by Robert Macfarlane & Jackie Morris, with music & lyrics by Mary Erskine & Will Dollard with a book by Matt Borgatti. She is joined by Jonathan Charles (War Horse), Toby De Salis (Whistle Down the Wind), Paula James (Our Man in Havana), and Lucy Yates (Jonny Feathers the Rock and Roll Pigeon). Also known to TV audiences, starring in popular CBBC series Almost Never and Marvel’s Moon Knight. Leading the cast Miriam Nyarko plays Jay, an actor and R&B singer-songwriter, Miriam made her West End debut at the age of 10 as Young Nala in The Lion King and has featured in many musicals and plays since. Moving, joyful, and funny, The Lost Spells is a new musical for anyone who wants to celebrate and save the natural world around us – be that in the city or countryside, before it’s lost forever.
